And so ends another year

The sparkling grape juice is chilling in the fridge for our annual oh-so-exciting New Year's Eve at home with the boys. It may not be the most exciting way to ring in the New Year, but it is the only place that I really want to be, with my family. (And the boys love to pretend that they are drinking real champagne.)

It really is hard to believe that we are at the end of another year. Where did the time go? It seems that as I have gotten older and busier with the boys, that the years seem to go by faster.

So what did we accomplish this year? Well, I think the biggest and most memorable would be with the purchase of our first home. When we first moved to Oshkosh, we said that we were just going to rent for a year and then buy a house. Well, it took a little longer to find the house that we were looking for - 3 1/2 years longer! We are loving it though and are slowing trying to rid the house of the seventies features - including the wallpaper!!

Our boys all got another year older - which makes me really sad. Avery, my baby, celebrated his first birthday in February, Carter turned 7 in April, and Jordan turned 11 in November. Wow, that really makes me feel old!!

Alot of our year was spent running around to sporting events for the boys. Football, Baseball, and Basketball practices and games kept us very busy. I don't know how we are going to juggle it all when Avery is old enough to play!

One of the most reassuring things was that Tory and I both still have a job after layoffs at both of our places of employment. I thank God for this everyday. We definitely are blessed!

And with that, I leave you with a few of my favorite pictures from this year. These are only a sampling because this post would never end if I posted them all! Granted, I probably have mommy goggles on for most of them!
