Jordan's 5th grade class had their D.A.R.E graduation today. It was a cute little ceremony that started off with a song by the 5th graders followed by a speech from the D.A.R.E. officer and some of the kids getting to read their D.A.R.E. essays. It was wrapped up with a video of pictures taken throughout the D.A.R.E. program and best of all - Cake! The saddest part of all, even though this was only a graduation from the D.A.R.E. program, I felt myself tearing up a little. I must be a major sap and Lord help me when his high school graduation comes around!
