Day 6: January 6, 2010

Tonight is one of those nights that make me want to pull my hair out. I have a 7 year old that is whining and crying because he can't do his homework even though I have explained it to him 4,930,898,467,839,387 times.

And...at this very moment I have a 22 month old screaming in the kitchen because I refuse to give him a snack right before bed.

Really?? What did I do to deserve this??

Anyway, before all the madness broke out, I was able to capture this sweet little photo of my 22 month old. I love his little Paul Frank monkey pajamas that he got for Christmas. But yet I wonder - why are all little boys drawn to toy guns?

Day 6: January 6, 2010

Okay - excuse me while I go grab a drink...

  2. I have a gun-lover too and we are so anti-guns. Who knows. Enjoy the peace and quiet when they are all tucked safely in bed tonight. :)

  4. love those pj's too. It is most definitely a total boy thing. Them and their guns, daddy and my little guy will play pretend guns with just their hands all day if I let them :P

  5. Sounds like our house some days! I was about to pull my hair out last night too, but ours were pushing and whining. No push! No push! I feel like I say it 100 times a day!

  7. Oh I can so relate to what you were going through!! My 16 y/o and I had an argument and now he is not speaking to me. I mean at all...he tells his dad everything and if I need to know asks his dad to tell me. Which to me is ridiculous that his dad would relay the messages but sometimes he can be just as immature as the kids.

  8. oh he's SO cute though! I know all moms have days like this, and it's worse in my opinion when you have an age gap like that...keeping everyone happy can be hard!
